Caen Hill (Thursday 15th February 2018)

I thought it was going to be another stay-at-home day yesterday with all the hailstorms and wind, but when the sun came out after lunch I took the opportunity to drive over to Devizes to stock up on my wheat, spelt and rye bread, and having done that drove on to Avon Road to check out the swans at the top of the Caen Hill lock flight. The light was good and I took around 45 pictures (yet to be processed at the time of writing). Both the adults where in the Caen Hills Moorings section of the canal and posing nicely.
By this morning, when Refna came round for a Non-Gardening Morning of tea and chat I had prepared a shortlist of six for her perusal. Her choice is in Extras but as I have blipped the narrowboats seen in the background more than once before I have gone with my own selection.

Lozarhythm Of The Day:
L A Salami - Generation L(ost) (2017)
I have heard this so often it must be on 6 Music's 'A' Playlist. Usually this means that some excellent records are spoiled for me because I've heard them too often, but with this that never happened. L A Salami himself (his real name) was a guest on Radcliffe/Maconie on this afternoon and seemed a very affable fellow.
