Little River Beach.

What a spectacular day it was......above freezing, and sunny!  So after lunch we headed off to the beach!   It was a bit daunting for me, first time walking on such uneven ground (our beaches are mostly rounded stones!!!) since the surgery, but with my trusty poles i was ok.   It was a bit on the chilly side so i think Lynne and Ivor were happy to hear that due to my knee i needed to head back.....so we all headed back down the beach!   Sitting in the car, warming up, Terry spotted what he thought was a large boat on the horizon......but with Ivor's amazing binoculars we discovered it was in fact an iceberg!!!   What a stunning thing to see!  It was huge.....but you could only really see it with the help of very good binoculars.   Still we were all very excited! 

home now, and off to make quiche for dinner!
