Pastoral

The light on the countryside today was quite breathtaking.  Later in the day, as the sun dropped, the light turned more golden and the skies darkened leaving me almost unable to drive for the sheer beauty all around me. After living in a predominantly grey world for days the sunlight is magnificent.. hints of spring are emerging but there is still a bite to the wind.
