Familiar

This is a familiar scenario getting onto the ferry. We were last onto the first one of the day - only a small number on today (not surprising really!). We are due home in about an hour and a half; it'll be late enough, but I'm relieved it's not right down to the SE which is what we used to do.
It's been very cold and sunny and the A9 was pretty empty at the top and lovely to drive. I stayed awake whilst there was still sea to look at but the gardening etc and ridiculous inability to sleep last night caught up with me and I awoke to see Stirling ahead. Ah well!
We received some Very Exciting News whilst driving through the Lake District - crackly reception made it slightly garbled and amusing - I'll divulge when appropriate very soon!!
