Lunch in Kyoto. A rather jolly affaire, despite Mrs Raheny 's not-quite-ecstatic expression.
It started with Mimi and Finn wanting to cycle down to downtown Dun Laoghaire. And cycle downhill into downtown they did, with much gusto.
Mimi spent a big chunk of her birthday money on books. A good thing I guess. Doesn't change much to the fact that money seems to burn her pockets...
Then it was lunch in Kyoto as the People's park and its overpriced burgers was mobbed.
And the ice cream machine worked perfectly well this time!
And then both Mimi and Finn decided that cycling was no longer fun, and that they didn't really want to ride their bikes back home.
Cue much cursing for Mrs Raheny on a bike with the saddle a few yards too low. And cue much swearing as I tried to cram Finn's no-longer-beloved bike in the boot.
Thanks Nana for the day trip to Japan.
