Braving the snow

The garden was full of birds this morning as they competed for the nuts, seeds and fat balls in the winter wonderland. The ground feeding blackbirds looked a bit dejected though they tried their best at the feeders too. We put out some ground feed including the berry suet pieces the robin liked yesterday. We had to put it on a tray as it was sinking into the snow. This blue tit was one of the first to spot it.
