A good day to stay indoors

I filled up the bird feeders yesterday, and again this morning which, with the cold weather,  has brought a few unexpected visitors.  I caught this Redpoll on the feeder, through the kitchen window & snow.  Noisy/Grainy but still good to see a new visitor.

We had a couple of Fieldfares too, which though not uncommon, we've not seen close to the house previously.

Hope everyone else is ok - we appear to have been relatively unaffected by the snow so far,  there is a covering but nowhere near the disruption caused in other parts of the country.
