The Old Forge (Friday 2nd March 2018)

By this morning the snow had continued to accumulate here and there was even something of a snowdrift in the front yard. I went into the garden at breakfast time and took a few shots of the garden transformation. For my blip I have chosen this cascade of vintage handmade bricks.
Snow continued on and off throughout the day, and by the previous evening all the roads out of Calne, including the A4, were unusable to due to black ice, especially on the hills.

Lozarhythm Of The Day:
Pink Floyd - Another Brick In The Wall (Part II) (recorded April-November 1979)
Released as a single, but faded before the playground noises that appear on the original The Wall album version. This mix comes from A Collection Of Great Dance Songs (1981), which restored the noises but kept the single's start (it segues from the previous track on the album).
