Okay, okay - not exactly taxing your brain here but Spike wanted to feature in the first of this series ............

I made the right decision driving down a day early - heard on the news that all major routes out of Lincolnshire were blocked!!

The airport was as quiet as I've ever seen it (except in the very early hours of the morning) and it was FREEEEEZING in there - and it's not like me to feel the cold.

The flight was delayed quite a lot, the luggage arrived safely and the cab I pre-booked in the UK was there waiting  and am now where I'm supposed to be.  The hotel is fabulous, the room gorgeous and the bed is emperor sized!!

One happy bear - or should that be two happy bears??
