Optimism

That was the byword for the day.

A search for bread to make some hot toast ended in failure.
A hope that my team would, somehow, beat Celtic in the Scottish Cup ended, not unexpectedly, in failure.
A hope that Ant & Dec would retire is clearly not on the cards anytime soon.

The snow seems to have melted a wee bit though...
