Changing environments

I thought I would join in the Mono Monday Challenge - this week: Ugly.
Of course, 'ugly' is highly subjective. To many, the Victorian industrial landscape was highly ugly, transforming areas such as the Yorkshire dales to become dark stone enclaves. 

Lindley is very much an area of contrasts, from some beautiful architecture, to real Yorkshire industry. This is looking up one of the streets, past some back to back housing towards more modern housing and an old textile mill to the rear.  And yes, that is still a little snow in the road. Although more slush today.
