Vienna Calling

Nigel and his wife Liz did a car tour of the eastern and southern neighbours of Bavaria. Liz was heavily pregnant and this was the last chance to see more of the area before Nigel returned to working in the UK and to await the arrival of the "bump"

Their contact in Vienna was Emperor Franz Josef I of Austria who was married to the Bavarian girl Sisi, the story told in more detail here.

I was holding the fort at the office in Munich today, so my diary says.
