AbstractThursday141 Warming

We have not experienced the arctic temperatures this week, that were such a feature only a few days ago.  Nevertheless, it was chilly enough for me to be happy to light the fires this afternoon to help me create something for today's AT challenge.  I did try out a few ideas, some involving more faffing than others, but in the end went for a simpler, much nearer the original, image.
In other news, the seemingly interminable sanding  has just about reached the end, just the clear up operation to go through this weekend.
Work related activities have been quiet today, with only a couple of emails to reply to, although in this instance I'm not sure that no news is good news!
