Early Morning Walk

I went out walking early today, which is something which doesn't often happen on Sundays but because Deborah would arrive late morning and Joanne  in the afternoon I knew there was just enough time for a quick visit to the nature reserve.  It was only a quick walk  - along the canal over the bridge and round to the hide and then back across the bridge higher up stream.  The morning was lovely and the birds were singing loudly - a sound which always lifts my spirits.

I've had a super day with my girls and now I'm going to make a cup of tea and relax in front of the TV; many thanks for the  comments and stars for yesterday's Still Life  they're all very much appreciated.
