Colour for a cold day

I took several chilly photos this afternoon, but all of views I've posted in the past - apart from the one that is my extra, of a rhododendron flower in Benmore Gardens, where several rhoddy bushes are daring to bloom. But I was making dinner and just about to pop this tray in the oven when it occurred to me that a foody photo might be just the thing to warm up my blip as the dinner would warm up ... well, me, and Mr PB.

So here are my mediterranean vegetables, all chopped up, anointed with olive oil, sprinkled with sage and sprigs of rosemary ( I got very cold snipping them in the dark garden) and salt flakes and pepper. We had them with fillet steaks, grilled to perfection, and baked potatoes with a topping of salt flakes and garlic. I bunged the veg in the hot oven with the spuds and by the time the steaks were done and rested all was ready.

Seriously good ...
