With a little help

A bitter cold day, but bright and dry so we carried on working in the back garden.  As well as putting up a new fence, we're doubling the height of the raised beds.  Foolishly, we didn't realise we would need supervising by Bonny the Bantam!

Any bit of turned over earth and she is in there, regardless of spades, forks, trowels, power drills or electric screwdrivers!  I don't think she realised quite how hazardous her behaviour was!  Later in the day joined me as I forked out the oldest compost bin and spread it on the beds. So many worms - what a happy hen!

Ollie meanwhile pottered about, just content that he had rounded us all up together for the day.  That's when he's happiest, and me too.
