Wow. After all of yesterday's excitement, I had a quiet morning at home setting up my soundbar and doing some general tidying up!

All done and Verna and Eileen arrived late afternoon for my treat tonight. I did a demo of the new sound system which they thought was great. We set out around 6:30 and headed to Al Seef. Traffic delays meant we missed the best of the dusk lighting, but we enjoyed a cool breeze as we marvelled at the development.

Back again towards the car, and we boarded the Bateaux Dubai for dinner! What a treat! A four-course meal cooked on board with panoramic views of everything as you sail along. An amazing evening! The Bateaux Dubai is an experience everyone should have at least once in their life - if possible!
