Blockhead

Was meant to be going to Manchester today for Lurkio's birthday but neither of us really felt like it. We went out for tea and cake and then a walk along the canal instead. Will do something more exciting at a later date.

Got a meeting tomorrow which I've pretty much been worrying about for well over a week now. Will be glad when it's over with. There's a fine balance for me between having enough notice to prepare and having too much notice in which to get myself into a state. When something coming up in the future is worrying me I find it very hard to put it out of my mind.

Saw a heron today though, first one I've seen in weeks. Made me happy. Thank you Mr Heron :-)
