Nettle tops

Spring harvest from Wimbledon Common. 

We have a few favoured patches that are slightly less doggy on the flanks of the 'Wimbledon Alps'. The nettles are just coming up so are at their finest. Stewed up with an onion and leek base plus lentils & seasoning, it makes for a really wholesome stew.
