Femme Voilée

Another blip in the 'Art at UMCG' series. This is 'Femme voilée', or 'Veiled woman', in Portuguese marble, made by Dutch sculptor Albert Aukema. It can be found outside the hospital, to the left of the main entrance. The artist has told a newspaper: "this piece shows the female sensuality in relation to religion".
