Jump Sequence

While the photos for this sequence were not taken today, the work that went into it most certainly took place on this date so I feel okay about posting it for my entry. I have long wanted to do something like this, ever since seeing the Red Bull photo contest winners, and was fortunate to have the opportunity during last week's SOB trip. We were able to convince the captain of our party boat to let the bride jump from the second deck. I was further able to convince the staff to loan me a kayak so I could paddle into the perfect position to capture this sequence of photos with my Canon 1D Mark IV. Its frame rate is so fast I was able to delete a few of the shots before creating this eight shot sequence in PhotoShop.
