Better Late Than Never?

Just over a year ago I blipped this crash barrier after it had been damaged by a car running into it.

This week the council came to put up some little plastic fences in front of it…. not sure why they suddenly felt a need to do it…seems a bit silly to me. They are not going to offer much protection to the barrier or to any vehicle that may run into it again!
