Storm bird

There are 3 pair of fulmars thinking of nesting just above the path from the jetties. Don't know if they will stay, or if it will be too busy with visitors for them to stay.
I do love a fulmar, one of the most beautiful seabirds, in my opinion, with their sweet faces and remarkable nostrils!
Only one boat running today, so fairly quiet. Overcast with a light easterly.
Saw two pair of shelduck in the south bay first thing, and later a peregrine hunting redshank on the shore. As I was standing in the porch at night, a bat flew past about a foot from my nose!
