I'd been working on this little gem on & off for a couple of months now. Major surgery.

She's a Wappen type kontra-guitar made by August Schultz from Nürnberg in the 1930's.

This afternoon, when I finally I finally got to string her up she took my breath away not only with her volume, but with her incredible warmth & clarity.

Here she's "drying out" (CC's term for letting her get used to being under tension after years of coma!).
