musings of a Nepali girl

By Pratiksha

For the first time in my life, I saw the sunset for more than an hour. When I write sunset I mean the view. The sun started setting down in Malaysia and was still not over when we past by other time zones.

Always great to be back home. Back to my beautiful family, work, community and country.

Immigration Findings: I get off the plane, in the bus, off the bus and finally into the immigration to find barely any immigration officer on duty. The queue didn’t move for ages. After 20 minutes of standing still, I thought I had to find why. So I found that the officers are promoted/transferred a few days ago and there is no replacement. Not sure what that means.

The last five days were amazing. Encouraging and yet challenging sessions on economics and human flourishing.

The author of our course book says “don’t become ‘a man with a hammer’: there is more than one way to ‘do’ economics, each with its strengths and weaknesses”.

Anyways, off to bed. Good night/Good morning/Good day!
