Blue Sky & Sunshine
...and with more forecast I think we can say Spring has finally arrived.
With such wonderful weather we could not head out to enjoy it and so headed to Mudeford. The drive there was in glorious sunshine but we arrived to so much mist and fog we could barely see the other cars in the car park let alone Hengistbury Head the short distance across the water! Sat in the car we were in two minds about heading elsewhere but fortunately the fog soon lifted. Having paid for the car park we joined the queue for the boat to realise we didn’t have enough cash left between us to pay for the crossing and had to head off site to get some cashback. Having arrived back we joined the queue for the second time and this time made it across to the sandbanks and Britains most expensive beach huts. For beach huts they are a generous size but unbelievably some of these trade hands for hundreds of thousands of pounds, such is the demand. We didn’t go far, but having taken some photos it was just lovely to sit and people watch enjoying the sunshine and views across the Solent to the Isle of Wight and The Needles.
