New to Me

One of these little things fluttered by yesterday but wouldn't sit still long enough for me to catch it on "film." Today I got it! And it is a new butterfly to me. Apparently they only have one flight - in the early spring. This is a male Falcate Orangetip ~ Latin name: Anthocharis midea. The females don't have the orange tips.

The dandelion is coming up in the middle of the driveway. As they do.
