Goldfinch

This male American Goldfinch is now pretty much fully wearing his breeding plumage. That said, it'll still be a while before breeding actually happens. These guys breed late in the summer - like July, maybe? - because they're waiting for the seeds that they eat to be available. Lovely little bright yellow spots!
