Always loved pink tulips like these.  From the time I was a child.  As I now live here, I have nothing to complain about.

Went to work, worked, then exited Rotterdam from the south so that I could go to Goeree-Overflakkee (yup, like last year) and check the fields.  I was not disappointed.  At the same time, they are a lot less in number compared to previous years.  I believe that you need to allow your soil to rest after a field or more of these have literally sucked all the nutrients out.  This is in Ooltgensplaat, which I've often visited.  This is the kind of field I get out of the car for.  Of course I'll return here tomorrow.  There are other fields.
