Glad

It has not been as warm as yesterday today but it has still been a lovely day and without people getting quite so fractious. My day started with a hard-hitting road safety assembly which was taken seriously not least because it wasn't one of us that led it. Three lessons taught, those not in their lessons supervised in the fourth and a few things ticked off the list in the fifth. I stepped in for someone else to cover after school but tidied up my classroom in the process. 

The shiny, new car was still looking at its best once all of the was finished and the  Friday journey home was enhanced by the novelty of it. Bailey was pleased to see me once I'd done a supermarket trip and even kept me company on the sofa for a while this evening. I think we are both glad to get to Friday this week.
