Tarte caramel

I've been set the challenge of trying a new food every week and I'm doing terribly so I'll have to try lots of new things one week. This week I had a caramel tarte which was very nice though there was possibly too much pastry which is something I rarely complain of.

Today I had my normal lessons and then practised French with one of my friends who I'm helping with his English. He has to do a presentation on a poem which is written in Old English so it's quite difficult to give him advice on pronunciation when I've never seen the word before either. I think my guesses are probably more likely to be right than his but maybe I'm wrong.
