Tiny, wee survivors

Jessi was giving these flowers a rough time. She  loves to dig holes in the garden. One eye on me, and one eye on how fast she can dig a hole before I stop her :-)  I thought the hepatica had no change to survive. But now they stretch their tiny, wee head towards the sun watching out for the sweetest dog on earth!
