Holy moly - 3 warm sunny days in a row!!  A mackerel sky tonight so I think some weather is coming in but what a boost to the spirits! I had to go into Clonakilty so Himself came with me - business done we had lunch al fresco and watched the world go by, then headed on to Inchydoney beach. This is a fabulous spot - proper sand, and an immense amount of it. The tide was way out and although there were loads of people  - building sandcastles, walking dogs, surfing, paddling flying kites,  lurking behind windbreaks - it always feels spacious and wild. A quick paddle was undertaken - urghhhh, icy!

Clonakilty is also famous for its ice creams and has a very jaunty shop. Yes, we did avail.
