The Beauty of Plants - Green Algae

Mum and I took a trip out to the RHS garden, Hyde Hall.  I'd been invited to join a "meet-up" with a group of photographic friends for some photograhic therapy and the opportunity to see the International Garden Photographer of the Year (IGPOTY) exhibition.

The outdoor exhibition included some inspiring images. I was particularly taken by the "Macro Art" and "Beauty of Plants" categories.  One of the finalists in the latter was Bubble Bath by Minghui Yuan, showing green algae, which in Spring can produce large amounts of oxygen bubbles via photosynthesis.  The main pond in the garden had green algae, and sure enough oxygen bubbles were present, so I set about taking my own example.
