If you can't beat them...

Iris.

We were coupled up and round at the ferry queue by about 9:30, having parked in position we decided to have a wander round the town.  The squally wet weather soon had us heading for a cafe.  The cafe filled rapidly presumably people like us parked up and waiting for the ferry.

The crossing was calm enough but rain and lack of being able to see any distance didn't help.  Having had lunch on the boat, where the food was being cooked to order as there were so few passengers, we landed about 2:00.

After landing it was straight to "The Mate's" son's croft, where we were greeted with a wee dram.  The mate has brought his "Trail Camera" with him so we had a wander down the croft to set it up over night.  The 3 "Highlanders" followed us hoping for food treats.  This is Iris looking down to see what we were up to down by the river.
