Travelling in Style (TT152)

Gill and I travelled to Weston and Back today - the last time for us to Gill's mum's house as the contracts for the sale are to be signed this Thursday.

In among the van load of things we bought back was this tiny travel iron, which I thought would fit the theme for this week's challenge.

We have no idea what this was doing in the house,  perhaps bought as a gift for someone, perhaps Iris was planning a last trip somewhere?  Still in the box and with the covers on the sole plate and the cable is still clipped into a loop.

Great service from Enterprise in Stratford too - the hire van was ready for us when we arrived,  quickly sorted out with documents.  We were away sooner than we expected and back for 17:00,  the M5 was, just for once, no trouble at all!

Thanks to everyone for the stars and comments on my blip yesterday of my grandfather's WW1 discharge papers.  Somewhere in the loft we have replicas of his medals - I'll sort them out and blip them soonish.  If you are familiar with the book Birdsong or the tunnelling under no mans land, that is what he was involved in.
