Portions of paintings, father & son

I'm soon back at my easel today, working on my grandfather's WWI era painting. I have painted his father, at age 96 in his Grand Army of The Republic uniform, a fraternal organization of Civil War Veterans. Great grandfather Lewis lived almost 6 years longer, long enough to see his many grandsons including my dad, fight for freedom once more in WWII.
