If you can't beat them...

Over the sea to sky.

Having spent a little time on Harris we were off again, this time "over the sea to Skye".  The ferry wasn't until lunch time so once we had checked in and positioned the rig in the queue Clickychick and I had a stroll round Tarbert.  We dropped into a "Craft market".  Having been envolved in more than our share of "Craft Fairs" it proved interesting.  There was much more on sale which was clearly produced rather than  bought to sell on and some very innivotive ideas based round their local Harris Tweed.

Thankfully the trip acrosswas clear and bright so we got good views of Skye and the Cullins as we crossed.  Having "made land fall" we headed for our site and set the caravan up before heading out to visit the "Coral Beach".  Perhaps I should have said trying to visit the coral beach as when we got there the car park was absolutely chocker.  So we had to turn round and head back.

On the way back we passed Dunvegan Castle, said to be one of the oldest inhabited castles in Scotland.  It is still the ancestral home of the Chief of the Mcleod clan. The castle traces its history back to around 1200 AD.
