Please do not

What  a really enjoyable day!  Sunshine and showers, we went over to Schull for an Irish lesson in Newman's coffee house, presided over this week by Finola. All very civilised for coffee and buns can be enjoyed whilst struggling over the Gaeilge. We must have sounded almost recognisable as two different customers commented on how nice it was to hear Irish spoken!
Exhausted we then went off for a long walk along tiny lanes and an old butter route, once the major highway to Cork. It was beautiful so full of wildflowers as we followed a small river, ending up at the sea and a Church  - Teampail na mBocht - Church of the Poor People - and a ford. In the cemetery we were delighted to find a profusion of wildflowers and this very thoughtful notice!  In another little graveyard we passed, Finola was thrilled to find cowslips and got down up close and personal! The chaps were martyrs to our wild flower investigation! And there was dereliction! A perfect day.
