Lacock Abbey NT (Thursday 3rd May 2018)

Finally got out of the house today and busied myself in Devizes, Melksham and Lacock, where I had my first 99 Flake of the year. I did a tour of Lacock Abbey grounds and its botanic garden. I wanted to see the blossom, which looks glorious at the moment, as do all the trees, including these magnificent copper beeches behind the old oak.

I had a picnic on a bench seat that I shared for awhile with Abbess Smokey, who was in a very friendly mood (seen in the Extra, taken with Lumix LX100). I took over 60 shots and will post up the relevant album tomorrow.
