Capturing my Journey

By thedoglady

Last time

Gathering the hill Tir nan Spreadh on our farm. And it was very misty. In top right of thumbnail you can just see the sheep disappearing into the mist. The wrong way I might add. They were very naughty to get in. We have sorted through them drawing off the Wethers who have gone in with the tups in their field along with those that are yelled. All the ewe hoggs (last year's stock ewe lambs) were given treatments and numbers read with the electronic reader along with some yelled ewes to fill the trailer. They are all heading to the new farm tomorrow with husband.

Before this we brought in Hazel and her calf from the hill as it looked a little cold and hungry. He's a huge calf. We are hoping he will be strong enough to start feeding himself before husband leaves tomorrow.

In amongst all this the second last ewe to lamb lambed all fine there. Pic in extra.

Trailer decks were put down and sawdust put in. Just filled the back of the pick up with packed boxes for the new place. Must be time for a bath now.

8c misty and wet am dryer and clearer pm
