In Early Light

Wonderful light in the early mornings. The posy of forget me nots and bluebells is still going strong but the dandelions have given up the struggle.

I'm probably best pleased with this shot over the last three days when I took the time to focus as I did. I believe soft focus works best when something, preferably to the front, is always in focus, and I stick to a wider aperture. That's how the impressionist feel comes over.

Thank you to everyone for comments. Apologies for non-reciprocation but it's difficult to sit at the computer for very long. More to do with cramp from the nerve endings than the knee joint itself. Still, good progress is being made and I may be able to be more responsive next week.

Today's plan is for me to walk to Open Church for coffee morning, sans Basil. Len will bring him once I'm there and collect me at the end. Lyn is set to visit this afternoon, and this evening, Len, Colin and I plan to dine at Livios. Quite the jetset.
