Wild goose chase

The Canada goose isn't all that visible in this picture, but I reckoned that the swan was probably worth it. This year's new swan couple are behaving like their predecessors as regards geese - they are the number one enemy, probably just because they are the largest birds around after the swans.

You will no doubt be relieved to learn that the goose came to no harm.
