Trolls’ Picnic!

If you go down to the woods today
You're sure of a big surprise.

Trolls have their picnic!

Earlier this year, our Horse Chestnut tree had its five year lop. The tree surgeons got a bit carried away this year and gave it such a severe pruning that leaves are only just starting to appear, sprouting in all sorts of strange places. Fingers crossed that we’ll actually have a full tree canopy this year, though I’m pretty certain there won’t be any conkers this Autumn!
