I found this Small White roosting in the graveyard this evening, the only butterfly activity of the day.

Otherwise I had a fairly quiet day with the kids. We tidied the yard, played football and a few other bits and pieces.

Any of you that have been following my coverage of Eccleshill United over the past few weeks may like to know that they won their play-of final in Grimsby today, so are promoted to the NCEL Premier Division. I look forward to the Thackley-Eccleshill derbies next season.
