First Snow

Well, at least the first I've seen this autumn!

Thanks so much for your kind comments yesterday. It was a tough day hence the lateness of my blipping.

Today I was heading for the lake to retake a shot I loved but hadn't blipped on Sunday. I got to the next village and, wow, I saw the snow! Brakes applied, camera out, tripod ...

OK, so I forgot to pack the tripod. no need to go down to Ullswater then with light just as poor as Sunday's. I know I will be pleased to have made this record of snow in my journal
