Shit. I can see things a lot clearer now. Anything between 5 mm and 1 meter is perfectly crisp and well defined. 
Unlike my children. They are suddenly a lot less good looking than I thought they were. I may stop giving them hugs. 
The result is more spectacular than expected, from that first pair of specs. 
Also, I need a shave.
