Cruising

We finally managed to go on the Nature Cruise organised by the Orkney Nature Festival. We've been meaning to do this for some time but either haven't been here or have forgotten. Anyway, this circumnavigation of Hoy sadly didn't produce much Nature but it was a fine way to see some of the South Isles from a different perspective. And, as an added bonus, we ran into blipper EllyJay and her husband and had a spontaneous blipmeet onboard :-)

The weather was kinder than we anticipated and there were some lovely lens clouds initially. The blip is the best I could get, given the limitations of my phone's 'equipment'! It also sums up the trip: sea and swell (enough to upset LH for the first bit) ...
