Thalassa, New Quay, Low Tide

15.2C with sunny sunshine all day long. Light ESE/E/WNW breeze.

Fergus and I went for our walk after lunch. We went round to the harbour, went along by the park and Kilkerran road to Glenramskill House. The tall ship Thalassa was at the new quay. I had noticed she was there yesterday evening. I suspect her presence and the whisky festival with three distillery open days are no coincidence. It is open day at Springbank today.

In the loch were two Royal Navy ships, the second coming in and leaving while we were walking.
M107 HMS Pembroke, a Sandown-class minehunter.
M39 HMS Hurworth, a Hunt-class mine countermeasures vessel.

We came back the same way then along the street side of the park and came home through town passing the town hall and the bookshop (open).

When we got home I cut the grass while Fergus lay around in the garden.
