Gutter Inspection

My neighbour asked to borrow a ladder to inspect his gutter, which tended to overflow in rain.  He knew that there had been a nest but that the chicks had left.  So I offered my services as airborne cameraman and found a dead blackbird in the gutter.  My neighbour thought that it had been attacked and killed by crows, perhaps after the chicks.

The extra photo is the house next to his, a former pub, complete with surplus chicken wire, plant pots and bamboo pea sticks ready to hand over to anyone who might want them.
